The Association of Accredited Child and Family Agencies was incorporated in 1994 for the purpose of advocating at the State level for the needs of abused and neglected children.

All members are 501(c)(3) organizations and are accredited by the National Council on Accreditation or Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Strategic Goals

To cultivate a more meaningful partnership where both public and private parties mutually strategize about appropriate policies and systems to strengthen services and promote smooth effective implementation thereof.

To assure the appropriate funding levels are maintained to accomplish the objectives of safeguarding children and providing an appropriate continuum of care.

To influence public policy and funding through the Michigan legislative process.
