Oakland Family Services is a private, non-profit, human services agency which has been serving families and children in Southeastern Michigan since 1921. With three locations in Oakland County, which also encompass two Children’s Learning Centers, the agency offers programs that work to ensure the health and well-being of infants through older adults. The agency employs a professional, dedicated staff of social workers, psychologists, counselors, psychiatrists, physician assistants, child development specialists, and teachers to offer services provided in the office, or in clients’ homes.

Why AACFA?

Oakland Family Services is a member of AACFA to increase advocacy within local communities, within the State of Michigan, and with our esteemed legislators to most effectively meet the needs of children and families served by the agency. The AACFA agency partners share the Oakland Family Services vision of communities of thriving individuals and families, and do so via evidenced based practices and demonstrated outcomes. AACFA agency partners share the mutual value of demonstrating this via the validation and accreditation by the Council on Accreditation, a national accreditation organization.

 


Special Highlights

Oakland Family Services has been named a Michigan Top Workplace by the Detroit Free Press and independent research company Energage for seven consecutive years and in 2021 was named a National Top Workplace by Energage.
